clothing
this page is still a WIP!! as far as i know it's currently impossible to be at stage 12 as of writing this so this will be updated very frequentlyclothing requires materials in order to be crafted. therefore, along with the fully crafted ingredients themselves, i have included a list of the raw ingredients that you will need to gather in order to craft these!there are three sets that are able to be crafted: the able set (pink), the keen set (green), and the handmade set (purple). the recipes to craft the different parts of the outfit are the same across each set besides the colored cloth/color component. the color components are rubia, moss, and bee balm for pink, green, and purple respectively.

tips
flax and jute seem to be the most common while chamomile is harder to find than most other ingredients (in my personal experience)
many ingredients can be seen from racetracks, so you might be able to pick up quite a few simply by training your horse!
ingredients make a noise kind of like a wind chime when you're close by, so if you're having trouble finding any, turn up your volume!
if you can't seem to find any more ingredients, quickly log off and log back on and they should be respawned!
ingredients can respawn without you having to log off (i still haven't figured out how long it takes for them to do so though)
if you're having trouble finding a delivery quest NPC, make sure you have the "daily exchange quest" option visible on your map and look for blue arrows
there are no ingredients in the higher-level unlockable areas like dundull, golden hills valley, valley of the hidden dinosaur, or epona; don't waste your time trying to search around for ingredients in there
make sure you have a lot of inventory space before you set out to go crafting/gathering!
ingredients take a while to actually spawn after you log in. this means the best time to start gathering is approximately 30 minutes after initially logging in! that way you'll be able to gather more in one go rather than having to take multiple runs
there is an option for your map to have ingredients appear on your mini-map when you're close to them! just go into your map settings, scroll all the way down to the bottom, and click on the "MAP_MARKER_GATHERING_NODE" setting (the icon should look kind of like a star/flower). then, when you're near an ingredient, you'll be able to see the star/flower icon on your mini-map!
there is apparently an issue that some people are having regarding the spawn rates of ingredients. if you aren't seeing ANY ingredients, even after 30 minutes of being logged on, try reinstalling your game first, and if it still persists, contact support
frequently asked questions
how do you use the coordinates?.
why is the ingredients list on a separate google document?.
can i submit my own coordinates for ingredient locations?.
how long did this take you?.
can i share this guide with other people on tumblr/instagram/twitter/[other social media site]?.
i have another question...
.
:]
coordinates can be seen by opening your map and looking at the very bottom of the window. there, you should be able to see your current coordinates! they also change in real time as you move both your character in the world and your mouse over the map. to use coordinates from the ingredients guide, hover over the area where the coordinates are on the map, click on the map, and you should have a beacon appear that you can ride over to!
i didn't realize until it was too late that carrd only lets you have 100 elements on a page for free. in order to have more than 100 elements, you have to pay for a subscription -_-
therefore, in order to get around this restriction, i simply made the google document instead and just linked it here
of course!! just take a look at the contact page and reach out to me with the coordinates and the name of the location you found the ingredient in. a picture would be nice too but it's not required! after you reach out, i'll put your coordinates in the document and credit you as a contributor :D

too long, my friend. too long. i would say a modest guess at the amount of time i spent organizing this guide would be ~10 hours (and counting!)
please do!! i want this to reach as many people as it possibly can. i know trying to figure out crafting might be a little tricky so it's good to know that people can get help from this guide :D
all i ask is that if you take screenshots and post them somewhere else that you link back to this website somewhere in your post
feel free to reach out to me via my contact page!! my DMs are open (i'm like 99% sure) so i can probably answer any questions you might have :]
